Looptopia ‘08

This Friday will mark the second year of Looptopia, Chicago’s all-night dance party, art fest, and celebration of drunken tomfoolery. I’ll be there with my bike, makin’ the scene and meeting new people. Granted, I thought this thing was going to be a bust last year but was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who showed up, leniency twards open alcohol containers, and good-nature that people had.

Best NES and SNES Games

Driving Ban Continues

Usually I’m excited to have a 3 day weekend, but not this time. I was off of work today to go to my first court date in regards to my current driving status. That status, of course, being NOT ALLOWED TO FUCKING DRIVE. I’ll skip to the good stuff: the infinite wisdom of the Illinois Judicial System has seen fit to continue to suspend my driving privileges.

The fact that you’re reading this means that you’re a user of The Internet. How would you feel if your shopping, emailing, video watching, porn surfing, and general internet usage was metered, measured, and charged back to you by corporations? Yeah, I wouldn’t like it either, which is why Net Neutrality is vital. Lawrence Lessig happens to agree; so much so that he decided to have a little chat about it with the FCC.
